Getting Started with ChronSaver

Follow this guide to set up ChronSaver and start earning cashback on every Roblox purchase. Choose between quick setup (20%) or full savings (40%).

1 Install the Extension

First, install ChronSaver from the Chrome Web Store. Click the button below to open the extension page, then click "Add to Chrome" and confirm the installation.

After installation, you'll see the ChronSaver icon in your browser toolbar. Click it to open the settings.

2 Choose Your Setup Method

ChronSaver offers two ways to earn cashback. Pick the one that works best for you:

Own Place

40%

Option A: Support ChronSaver (Quick Setup)

This is the fastest way to get started. You'll earn 20% cashback on all purchases, and support the development of ChronSaver at the same time.

  1. Click the ChronSaver icon in your browser toolbar to open settings.
  2. Select "Support ChronSaver" as your setup method.
  3. Join the ChronSaver Roblox group (required for purchases): Join Group
  4. You're done! Start shopping on the Roblox catalog.
Note: You must be a member of the ChronSaver group for purchases to work. Make sure to join before your first purchase.

Option B: Own Place (Maximum Savings)

Set up your own Roblox group to keep the full 40% commission. This requires a bit more setup but gives you maximum savings on every purchase.

Prerequisites

  • ✓ A Roblox group where you have permission to create games
  • ✓ The group must allow third-party sales (configured automatically)

Setup Steps

  1. Click the ChronSaver icon in your browser toolbar to open settings.
  2. Select "Custom Place ID" as your setup method.
  3. Enter your Place ID manually, or use the group selector to create a new experience automatically.
  4. If creating a new experience: Select your group from the dropdown, then click "Create Experience".
  5. Save your Place ID. ChronSaver will now use your group for all purchases.
Important: If you choose an existing experience, it will be overwritten with the ChronSaver game template. Make sure to select an empty or unused experience.

3 Make Your First Purchase

Now that ChronSaver is set up, here's how to make a purchase and earn cashback:

  1. Go to the Roblox Catalog and browse for items you want to buy.
  2. On any item page, click the green "Add to Cart" button (injected by ChronSaver) instead of the regular Roblox button.
  3. Add as many items as you want. You can view your cart by clicking the cart icon in the top-right corner.
  4. When ready, click "Checkout" in your cart. This will open Roblox and launch the ChronSaver experience.
  5. In the game, confirm the bulk purchase. Once completed, your items are bought and your cashback is credited!
Quick Buy: For single items, you can use the "Quick" button to purchase immediately without adding to cart. Note that Quick Buy doesn't clear your cart — it's designed for fast, one-off purchases.

4 Troubleshooting

Common Issues

"My cart is empty" or "Items not showing"

Make sure your Place ID is correctly saved in the extension settings. Try reloading the Roblox page after changing settings. If the issue persists, reset your Place ID and set it up again.

"I got kicked from the game"

This usually happens if there's a mismatch between your cart and the game. Make sure you're using the latest version of the extension. If you used Quick Buy, this is normal — Quick Buy completes and closes immediately.

"Purchase failed" or "No items found"

Verify that you've joined the correct Roblox group (either ChronSaver group for Support mode, or your own group for Own Place mode). Also check that the items you're trying to buy are still available.

"Cashback not showing"

Cashback is credited to your group funds (for Own Place) or tracked in our system (for Support mode). It may take a few minutes to appear. If using your own group, check your group's revenue page on Roblox.
